THE Karachi Clerks' Association has reported to a local paper that one of their members has been summarily suspended by the Superintendent of Exports and Imports, Karachi Port Trust, for having distributed programmes of the National Education Week. The local Anglo-Indian paper disapproves of this action and says that it has noticed nothing wrong in the national education movement to justify any resentment. "Nobody supposes," says the writer, "that our educational system is perfect, and the more people turn their thoughts to the matter, the better." The order of suspension of the clerk, will we hope be withdrawn.
