New Persian matriculation course

COMPLAINTS have for sometime been rife that the new Persian Course for the Matriculation examination as issued was open to serious exception, portions of it being objectionable. The learned Vice-Chancellor being now convinced that the said Course as issued is not fit for use in schools, has taken prompt measures to discontinue its issue and to withdraw all companies issued at the price paid, directing that pending any further orders the old Persian Course will continue to be the course prescribed. The Registrar has requested all Head Masters of High Schools to direct all pupils and teachers in possession of a copy of the book recalled to hand it over to the Head Master for return to the University, all copies received before the 1st July 1915 being paid for.
