Oriental Students at Oxford.

Oxford University has just passed a statue establishing a delegacy consisting of the Vice-Chancellor and several others to cooperate with the Students' Department of the India Office and the Advisory Committee in India in exercising control over Oriental students at Oxford. The delegacy controls not only Indian students but also all others coming from Oriental countries by watching over their interests, keeping a register of all such students and supervising any student if requested by a censor or college or hall. It is not clear what the object of this extra control is, but Indian students will be subjected to a form of control from which students from the colonies and self-governing dominions are free.
