The Delhi Conference

THREE days more and the Conference will meet at Delhi. Yet up to the moment of writing we have no adequate or reliable information about the personnel of the conference. That the Conference will include all the non-official members of the Viceroy's Council as a sort of ex-officio members as well as representatives of the local Governments, has been known from the first, and an Associated Press telegram to be found on another page states who among the ruling chiefs are going to attend. But on the most important aspect of the people, apart from the non-official members of the Viceroy's Council, have been or are likely to be invited we know nothing. This is extremely regrettable, to say the least of it.
