The Lahore Zoo

It goes without saying that the Lahore Zoo fulfils an important function not merely in the social economy of Lahore but of the whole province. It is the principal centre of attraction in the capital, sharing that honour with the Museum, but probably furnishes greater amusement to the stream of humanity, men, women and children that keep pouring from morning till evening from all parts of the province. To the educated and the illiterate alike the Zoo furnishes an unceasing source of delight, and the institution has a just claim on the consideration of all concerned.
