Dehradun, November 28

The three-day fest ‘Lamhe-2015’ organised by IMS Unison University concluded here today. Participants from IIT-Roorkee, Chandigarh University, CORE, Roorkee, IMS Ghaziabad, UPES, ITM, Law College, ICM, DIT University, Uttaranchal University, JBIT, and Graphic Era participated in the fest.

The day commenced with ‘Nritya-o-logy’ (a group dance competition), followed by ‘Sing to the tune’, a musical competition.

A large number of students participated in quiz-bee (business quiz), a legal quiz and art attack, a poster presentation competition.

Media events comprising impulse (extempore competition), reflection (photography competition) and wrangle- the debate also saw participation in good numbers.

Dr Ashwani Kumar, Chancellor, FRI, was the chief guest at the valedictory function. He showered his blessings on students, congratulated winners and appreciated the hard work put in by the university authorities in organising the fest.

Dr MP Jain, Chancellor, IMS Unison University, and Dr Dilip K Bandyopadhyay, Vice Chancellor of the university, congratulated the winners and appreciated the hard work put in by students and staff members for the successful conduct of the event.

The major attraction of the day was the “celebrity night”, in which legendary Singer Shadab Faridi rocked the stage and made the enthusiastic crowd dance to his musical numbers.
