City legislator Madan Kaushik today held a meeting with party district and city unit office-bearers regarding the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally to be held tomorrow in Dehradun where he will be launching the all-weather Char Dham mega road project.
At Shubharambh Palace, city legislator Madan Kaushik, senior leader Mukesh Kaushik and city Assembly party affairs in-charge Vikas Tiwari addressed the party leaders and workers.
Briefing about the rally venue and the mode of participation, Mukesh Kaushik said the maximum number of party workers would go by buses, which had already been booked and would be available at Rishikul ground.
Madan Kaushik claimed that about 5,000 party workers from the city would participate in the rally which would herald a change in the regime as people wanted the BJP-led government in the state too.
He added that back to back rallies first by party national president Amit Shah and now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created shivers in the Congress.
Vikas Tiwari said there was huge enthusiasm among party workers for Modi’s rally in Dehradun.
