Dehradun, April 29
Five persons were killed when a utility van fell into a gorge at Nagthat village in Chakrata area of Dehradun district today.
The utility van that was part of a marriage procession was returning to Dehradun city from Chakrata when it fell into a gorge around 5.21 pm at Nagthat village near Kalsi. Villagers rushed to their rescue and started relief and rescue operations.
The exact number of passengers in the vehicle is still to be ascertained.
