Ambulances to be deployed in Uttrakhand’s key locations

With a large number of tourists making a beeline for Dehradun, Mussoorie and other tourist destinations for New Year’ Eve, the GVK EMRI 108 Emergency Ambulances service has decided to deploy ambulances in key locations to prevent any untoward incident.

Manish Tinku, state head of the services, said ambulances would be deployed in sensitive locations in Dehradun, Mussoorie, Nainital, Raniketh,  Pithoragarh and Auli. On December 31 and January 1, 2018, the ambulances would be deployed at Survey Chowk, Ballupur Chowk, the Sahastradhara crossing, the Ballupur chowk, the ISBT, Jakhan and Race Course Chowk in Dehradun, he added. — TNS
