NEW TEHRI:The Uttarakhand Cabinet will have its meetingfor the first time in a floating restaurant on the Tehri lake here on Wednesday to promote the picturesque location as a tourist destination.

The Uttarakhand Cabinet will have its meeting for the first time in a floating restaurant on the Tehri lake here on Wednesday to promote the picturesque location as a tourist destination.

The Cabinet meeting would be unique as it would be held in floating Marina on the Tehri lake, an official at the CMO said.

The purpose was to promote Tehri as a tourist destination ahead of the Tehri Mahotsav to be held later this month, he said. — PTI
