Clear stand on summer capital: Cong to govt

Dehradun, November 10

State Congress president Pritam Singh has accused the ruling BJP of not clearing its stand on permanent capital status to Gairsain. While addressing party workers here, Pritam Singh said, “The BJP is just paying lip service on the issue of permanent capital status to Garsain. It is yet to come out clear on it.”

He also paid tribute to the martyrs of state agitation. “The sacrifices of the state agitationists can never be written off and will be remembered for long,” he said.

Leader of the Opposition Indira Hridyesh recalled the contribution of the Congress governments in the state’s development. — TNS
