DEHRADUN: The community radio — ‘Mandakini Ki Aawaz’ — in disaster-sensitive Rudraprayag district will celebrate its first anniversary tomorrow.

The community radio — ‘Mandakini Ki Aawaz’ — in disaster-sensitive Rudraprayag district will celebrate its first anniversary tomorrow.

The celebrations will spread across two days — September 21 and 22. The day 1 one feature Kavi Sammelan and day two will bring together all top local musicians who have shared their talent through ‘Mandakini Ki Aawaz’ in the past one year. Manvendra Singh Negi, founder of ‘Mandakini Ki Aawaz’ said both events would broadcast live from the station premises.

“In the coming year, the community radio will work along the local community to deliver meaningful and positive content and to enable social and financial sustainability to the community”, he added.
