THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has been conferred with the gold trophy, a citation under the prestigious “SCOPE Award for Excellence” for an outstanding contribution to the public sector management for 2013-14 in the Institutional Category II (Mini Ratna I & II PSEs).
Besides, THDCIL has been awarded a commendation certificate for “2011-12 under the aegis of the SCOPE Excellence Awards.
RST Sai, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), THDCIL, received the gold trophy, citation and certificate from President Pranab Mukherjee at an award ceremony organised at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
THDCIL is one of the premier hydropower generators in the country with an installed capacity of 1,400 MW with the commissioning of Tehri and Koteshwar Dam to its credit and is bestowed with “Mini Ratna-Category-I & Schedule ‘A’ status.
