Upadhyay alleged that canes and iron rods were stacked on the factory premises, which pointrf to the violent and aggressive nature of Padartha workers as well as the factory management.

The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal also questioned the police administration for their failure to gauge the tension brewing between the local transporters’ union and Padartha Herbal Food Park.

Veteran leader Uday Ram Semwal said on Tuesday too, there was an argument between the two sides, but the police did not take the incident seriously.

“SSP Sweety Aggarwal should take departmental action against police officers concerned as not only the police arrived late but also did not take seriously the incident of heated exchanges between the two sides on Tuesday.
