Chief Minister Harish Rawat today announced that the Congress would contest 2017 Assembly elections on the development plank.

Addressing the monthly meeting of the State Congress Working Committee at the Congress headquarters in Dehradun, Rawat said the development works done would be taken before the people and asserted that he was hopeful that the party would register a resounding success in the polls.
