DEHRADUN:One person was killed after a head-on collision between two cars in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand today.

One person was killed after a head-on collision between two cars in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand today.

The incident took place at the Rasibagh crossing on the Haridwar-Najeebabad road. While one car driven by Sati Barthwal (40) was coming from Kotdwar, the other was coming from the opposite direction when a head-on collision took place resulting in the death of Sati Barthwal. The victim had gone to Kotdwar to attend a marriage and was returning back to home.

The inmates of other car Pawan Gupta, Amit Kumar and Shami Kumar, also residents of Dehradun, were injured. They were on way to Najeebabad. — TNS
