Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) (Panwar) president Trivendra Panwar has alleged that the state government is misleading people on the issue of eco-sensitive zone in Uttarkashi. Addressing mediapersons here yesterday, Panwar said many areas of the state were made eco-sensitive zone when the Congress was at the Centre. But, Chief Minister Harish Rawat has started opposing it.
Panwar alleged that the BJP is also playing a double game on this issue. Earlier, the party was opposing it but it is now supporting it.
Both national parties are playing with people’s sentiments in Uttarakhand, said the UKD president.
