Guv gives tips on promotion of tourism, sports

DEHRADUN:Governor KK Paul held deliberations with Secretary (Tourism and Sports) Shailesh Bagauli regarding the enhancement of tourism and sports activities in the state here today.



Dehradun, April 21

Governor KK Paul held deliberations with Secretary (Tourism and Sports) Shailesh Bagauli regarding the enhancement of tourism and sports activities in the state here today. 

 He took information and gave suggestions about the safety and facilities for tourists and pilgrims who would be arriving in the state for the Char Dham yatra and the summer tourist season.

The Governor said the immense potential of tourism  must be utilised to strengthen the economy of the state.

He said adventure tourism could be promoted in a big way by developing further river rafting, skiing and other such sports.  —TNS
