Several BJP and Congress leaders called on former Chief Minister Harish Rawat to inquire about his health after he was hit by a motorcycle last evening. Rawat reportedly suffered from a minor sprain.
Among those who met the former CM included Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and his cabinet colleague Yashpal Arya. President of the state Congress unit Pritam Singh also met Harish Rawat, along with party’s senior vice presidents Joth singh Bisht and Suryakant Dhasmana, Rajendra Bhandari, general secretary and chief spokesman Mathura Dutt.
He was taking a stroll outside his Old Mussoorie residence whena bike hit him. The motorcyclist fled the spot. The security guards took the former CM inside the house and administered first aid. No police complaint has been lodged.
