DEHRADUN:Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today released the Hindi translation of Max Muller’s famous book — India: What Can It Teach Us.

Dehradun, September 21

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today released the Hindi translation of Max Muller’s famous book — India: What Can It Teach Us.

In his brief address, Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat informed the gathering about Max Muller’s contribution towards bringing Vedas within the reach of people across the globe. He said Muller was an authority on Vedas and his knowledge of the subject was immense.

Uttarakhand Finance Minister Prakash Pant said the hindi translation of the book would greatly help hindi readers in getting to know about the book.

Dr Prakash Thapliyal, who translated the book into Hindi, informed the gathering about the efforts undertaken by him towards ensuring a best of translation of Max Muller’s famous book.

Uttarakhand former Chief Secretary Indu Kumar Pandey, literary personality Charu Chand Chandola 

and Swami Virendranand were prominent present on the occasion.
