DEHRADUN: Technical Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat today presided over janata darbar at the BJP officer here today. Speaking to mediapersons he said most of the problems raised at the meeting were related to water, electricity and roads.

Technical Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat today presided over janata darbar at the BJP officer here today. Speaking to mediapersons he said most of the problems raised at the meeting were related to water, electricity and roads. 

He said the CM had given permission to all MLAs to release Rs 15,000 from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund as assistance for marriage of girls belonging to economically weaker sections of society.

He said the state government would hold janata darbars at block and nyaya panchayat levels too.

As many as 50 complaints were brought forth at the meeting todayt. Dinesh Salmana, a security guard, sought the minister’s help in securing a plot he claimed had been forcefully occupied by anti-social elements. Salmana said the plot was purchased by him at Dharampur Danda in 1987.
