Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi welcomed Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar on his visit to Dehradun today and presented a set of 10 demands, including construction of a state-level war memorial in the city.
The Defense Minister, after reaching Dehradun, headed towards DSOI auditorium and met the presidents of the Sridev Suman Nagar, Mussoorie BJP units, the elected BJP members from Landour and Dehradun Cantt and heard their woes.
He also demanded that the Defense Minister allocate funds for a sewage project, canteen for the cantonment board employees, construction of bridges at Birpur and Jamunwala and implementation of CFSR clause to eradicate corruption from the Cantonment Board offices. The Defense Minister promised to do the needful.
