Emphatic 65-run win for Hotel Saffron Leaf

DEHRADUN: Hotel Saffron Leaf defeated Alex Panels by 65 runs in a match of the 3rd President Cup Cricket Tournament played at Tanush Cricket Academy here on Wednesday.

Hotel Saffron Leaf defeated Alex Panels by 65 runs in a match of the 3rd President Cup Cricket Tournament played at Tanush Cricket Academy here on Wednesday. Hotel Saffron Leaf batted first after winning the toss and put 184 runs on the board. Tanush Gusain scored highest 52 runs whereas Akhil Rawat contributed 42 runs for his team. While chasing, Alex Panels was bowled out in just 119 runs.

In another match of the day, Siddharth Race Course Club beat Institute of PSR by eight wickets. Batting first, PSR scored 144 runs in the allotted overs. In reply, Siddharth Club comfortably achieved the target in 19.3 overs after losing two wickets. Mohit scored match-winning 78 runs for his team. — TNS
