Dehradun: Uttarakhand bagged the overall championship in the All-India Ranking Men’s Tennis Tournament by winning the final matches of single and double categories played at ONGC Club in Dehradun on Friday.

Dehradun: Uttarakhand bagged the overall championship in the All-India Ranking Men’s Tennis Tournament by winning the final matches of single and double categories played at ONGC Club in Dehradun on Friday. 

In singles final, Tushar Sharma of Uttarakhand beat state player Mayuk Rawat in an exciting match 3-6, 6-2 and 6-2.

Tushar also won the doubles title with his partner Pradeep Pant from Uttarakhand by defeating Archit Jain (UP) and Ayush Jain (Punjab) in direct sets 6-4, 7-5. — TNS
