Uttarakhand Congress leaders, including state party president Pritam Singh, will be campaigning for Congress candidates in the neighbouring Himachal, where the Assembly elections are under way.

Both the BJP and the Congress will be sending their leaders from Uttarakhand to Himachal for campaigning.

Uttarakhand Congress president Pritam will be accompanying Rohit Thakur, who will be filing his papers from the Jubbal Assembly seat as a Congress candidate on Monday. The Congress high command has already asked the state Congress to prepare a list of leaders whose services can be utilised for campaigning for the party in Himachal.

The state Congress has already marked senior leaders Navprabhat, Dinesh Agarwal and Hira Singh Bisht for campaigning for party candidates in the Paonta, Shilai and Chaupal Assembly seats, which are in close proximity to Uttarakhand and send their names to the party high command.
