Kathmandu: Nepal will soon be making it mandatory for all climbers headed to Mt Everest to carry an electronic chip that would be helpful in rescue in case of any emergency. “All the climbers would be provided the electronic chip, which will be fitted in the climber’s jacket,” Rakesh Gurung, Director, Department of Tourism. Beijing: At least 15 people were killed and 44 others injured when a building caught fire in China, a month after 39 people died in a similar accident. The building fire broke out in Nanjing, the capital city of east China's Jiangsu Province. AP
