Two arrested with poppy husk

The police arrested two persons with poppy husk at Ladhowal yesterday.

Ludhiana, December 12

The police arrested two persons with poppy husk at Ladhowal yesterday. The accused have been identified as Boota Singh, a resident of Sidhwan Bet, and Kartar Singh, a resident of Kulgehana village.

The police said the accused were arrested with 950 grams of poppy husk.

Man booked under Copyright Act

The Jodhewal police have booked a person for duplication. The accused has been identified as Amit Dugal, a resident of Sartaj Nagar. Nirmal Singh, manager, United Overseas Trade Mark Company, told the police that he found duplicate products at Amit Dugal’s unit. A case has been registered under Sections 63, 65 of the Copyright Act ,1959, at the Jodhewal police station.
