Through "Love: An Unexpected Miracle" Tania (Kumari Sushma Bhadana) hopes to make people more sensitive and thoughtful in their approach towards differently abled people.
The book, released today in the national Capital by Associate Professor of History Department in Nehru College Naresh Kumar who himself is visually impaired, revolves around the life of a disabled girl who was distressed by the behaviour of people towards her and how their thinking changed drastically towards her later.
Tania said the book is the result of her two years' endeavour and is inspired by the life of her two disabled brothers. The aim is to change the mindset of people towards differently abled.
A resident of Lakadpur Village in Faridabad, Tania is satisfied with her effort and dedicates her book for ensuring equal status for the people with disabilities. The book will help the people change their thinking and vision for the disabled, she said.
Asst Prof Kumar said the disabled need more support from society while noting that love and affection play a very vital role in mainstreaming people with disabilities.
