St Kabir Trophy: Hosts go down against GNPS-36

Hosts St Kabir School, Sector 26, went down against Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS), Sector 36, in the girls’ category 39-08 during a match of the ongoing St Kabir’s Basketball Trophy today.

Amrit starred in her team’s win with collecting 21 points while for St Kabir, Jannat reduced the margin with contributing 4 points.

In other match of the same category, third match (girls) was played between St Joseph’s and Sacred Heart School. Sacred Heart School defeated St Joseph’s School, Sector 44, 33-2. Harnool (11 points) and Reet (8 points) played an important role in team’s win.

In a match of boys’ category, St Kabir School got better off Strawberry Fields School, Sector 26, 28-17. Tanush Puri played a major role and contributed 19 points.

For the losing side, Vaibhav collected 6 points.

In other match, St Soldier School, Sector 28, defeated The New Public School, Sector 18, 28-24. Utkarsh (10 points) and Aditya (8 points) ensured their team’s win while for The New Public School, Gagandeep gathered 20 points.
