It was a literary evening for hundreds of young school students who got an opportunity to meet their favourite writer and celebrated author of children's books, Ruskin Bond, at Green Book Shop, here today.

The literary legend was felicitated by HS Maan, director of Doon International School, in the presence of school students, literary enthusiasts and Bond fans. While speaking about Ruskin Bond in his presence, HS Maan said he grew up reading bond’s stories and now his son and daughter are following his footsteps and very fond of Ruskin Bond’s books.

Talking about the popularity of Ruskin Bond among the literary enthusiasts, Upendra Arora, owner of the Green Book Shop, narrated interesting stories about Ruskin Bond’s fans and his book lovers who regularly visit the book store in search of his books.

Ruskin Bond also released his new book ‘With Love from the Hills’ during the interaction and read out his favourite passage from the book. In the end, he also answered queries of the students. He also signed autographs on the request of students.
