Bathinda, December 9
Employees of the Sewerage Board staged a protest outside Rose Garden here today against the officials of Municipal Corporation Bathinda (MCB) and their own department. Addressing the protesters, their leaders said officials of the Sewarage Board and the MCB had left them with no option but to stage a protest.
“Even two years after issuing the notification regarding the wage increase, as many as 51 sewermen are yet to receive the revised salaries,” they said. The protesters demanded that 200 more sewerman should be recruited in the department.
