Melodious note

Singer Neha Kakkar first appeared in the second season of television reality show Indian Idol in 2006. And since then, there has been no looking back for her. In an exclusive chat, we catch up with Neha to talk about her latest song and more.

How has the response to your latest song with Honey Singh, Manali Trance, been?

The response has been fabulous and very overwhelming. My fans love the song. It is being played everywhere at clubs. My selfie video of Manali Trance is also being appreciated a lot.

You are considered a young achiever. Did you ever imagine you will make it big at a young age?

By God's grace and the belief in my talent, I have reached where I am today. It feels great when my fans and well-wishers appreciate my hardwork.

How many shows you have done till date?

Well, I have been performing live on the stage since I was four. So there are too many things to count. I think I'm really lucky to have my fans, and I love them from the bottom of my heart.

You recently went to Vaishno Devi. Was it your first visit?

I have been to Vaishno Devi many times in the past. I strongly believe in Mata Rani. In fact, my entire family is a staunch believer in Mata as I started my carrier with Mata ki Chowkis and I still do them.
