Employees hold rally

Ludhiana: Employees of the West Division of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited held a gate rally to lodge protest against the suspension of two employees by the management on December 10, 2014. Speakers at the rally alleged that the allegations levelled against the suspended employees - an assistant junior engineer and a junior engineer - were false. They said the assurance given by senior officials for immediate reinstatement of the employees was not fulfilled. The trade union leaders threatened to intensify the agitation till justice was done. — TNS
