Classified
advertisements which are released in the print editions of The Tribune,
Dainik Tribune and Punjabi Tribune may also be published in their Internet
Editions (irrespective of number of words) on an additional payment of Rs.
225/- per insertion for The Tribune; Rs. 105/- per insertion for Dainik
Tribune and Rs. 110/- per insertion for Punjabi Tribune respectively.
There will be no charges for signs of punctuation. Symbols of
multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, etc., would be
considered and charged for as one word. Any e-mail address would
be treated as four words.
Classified Display Advertisements are displayed in classified
columns of The Tribune and are chargeable @ Rs 315-00 per sq.
cm. and the minimum chargeable space is 3-column cm. All such
advertisements are published in single-column format only and the text
of the advertisement is composed within a box.
Box Service
The service: Advertisers who do not want respondents to know their
mailing address may avail themselves of this service. In this service an
advertiser is allotted a secret number. The interested respondents send
their replies to that Box number.
The Tribune office then forwards the responses to the mailing address
given by the advertiser whom that particular number has been allotted. A box number is kept alive for one month
from the date of publication of an advertisement. All responses received
are sent to the advertiser by courier service at an address within India
and by regd. airmail at an overseas address.
Rates: For Indian addresses box service charges are Rs
75/- by Ordinary post or by personal collection; Rs. 95/- by
Courier service; Rs
150/- by Registered Post, and Rs 525/- per insertion by Airmail
at an overseas address.
The space covered by
the words "Box_____Tribune, Chandigarh" becomes part of the
advertisement text and is counted as four words. A headline even if it consists of less than 5 words will
be charged for a minimum of 5 words.
PS: a)
We dont publish demands for girls photographs using our
box number service.
b)
The Tribune Trust holds the right to publish or not to publish the
advertisement.
c)
The prevailing rate of the day of conversion of foreign currency into
Indian Rupees would be applicable while charging the payment which will be
automatically done by our payment site. You need to write the amount only
in Indian rupees while making payment.
