RATE CARD
Introduction: Classified advertisements are published in the Online Edition of The Tribune as well as the print editions of The Tribune, Punjabi Tribune and Dainik Tribune. They may be published in any one or more of the publications. The exact amount for an advertisement/ advertisement will be intimated when advertisement material is submitted through the relevant Advt. form. A 10% charge will be added to all sums paid through our online money transfer service.The Tribune (Print) Classified advertisements (Matrimonial, property, jobs, etc.) are published in the print edition of The Tribune @ Rs 750.00 per insertion upto 50 words and Rs. 1500.00 from 51 to 100 words. If an advt. matter exceeds 100 words limit, it will be chargeable @ Rs. 460 per sq. cm. There will be no charges for signs of punctuation. Symbols of multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, etc., would be considered and charged for as one word. Any e-mail address would be treated as four words. Classified Display Advertisements are displayed in classified columns of The Tribune and are chargeable @ Rs 270-00 per sq. cm. and the minimum chargeable space is 3-column cm. All such advertisements are published in single-column format only and the text of the advertisement is composed within a box. Language papers (Print) Advertisements to be published in our language papers — Dainik Tribune (Hindi) and Punjabi Tribune (Punjabi) along with The Tribune will be charged @ Rs 150.00 (for one language paper) and Rs 250.00 (for both language papers). Counting is done in terms of sets only; thus, a set could be of 10 words or less, but would be treated as a full set only. The Tribune Online Edition (www.tribuneindia.com) An additional sum of Rs 170 is to be paid if an advertisement is to be put on the Online Edition alongwith the print edition. Advertisements required to be carried only in Online edition are charged @ Rs 400 per insertion. In this case charges are not on word-basis, but there is a limit of 100 words. The insertions are made on Sundays and each insertion in the Online edition stays for a week. Box Service The service: Advertisers who do not want respondents to know their mailing address may avail themselves of this service. In this service an advertiser is allotted a box number, which is referred to by respondents. The Tribune office then forwards the responses to the mailing address given to us by the advertiser. One box number is kept alive for one month from the date of publication of an advertisement. The responses received are mailed to the advertiser in three weekly despatches. Rates: For Indian addresses box service charges are Rs 95/- by Ordinary post/Courier; by Registered Post at Rs 150/- and by Airmail at Rs 525/-. In case of Personal collection the charges are Rs 75/-.
The space covered by
the words "Box_____Tribune, Chandigarh" forms part of the
advertisement text and is chargeable at the minimum chargeable rate for
four (4) words. A headline even if it consists of less than 5 words will
be charged for a minimum of 5 words.
