New Delhi, November 24 A man who arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport from Bahrain was apprehended by the CISF for illegally carrying 12 gold biscuits in a pouch today.

A man who arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport from Bahrain was apprehended by the CISF for illegally carrying 12 gold biscuits in a pouch today.
The gold is worth Rs 75 lakh. The man has been identified as Muzaffar Hussain, who belongs to Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.
The CISF was tipped off today that Hussain would be coming from Bahrain by a flight and will allegedly be carrying gold with him.
"On arrival he was checked in the presence of the Customs officials. During his checking, 2.5 kg of gold i.e. 12 biscuits were concealed in a pouch," said Hemendra Singh, Deputy Commandant, CISF PRO. — TNS
