Nod to hire 100 medical officers

The Cabinet today approved the recruitment of 100 medical officers.

The Cabinet today approved the recruitment of 100 medical officers. Out of these, 50 posts will be filled on a regular basis by the HPPublic Service Commission (HPPSC) and 50 posts through location specific contract.

The Cabinet also okayed a CT scan in Dharamsala Zonal Hospital on the public-private partnership mode.

It also granted approval for upgrade of the heath centre at Maniara in Palampur to public health centre (PHC).

It approved the HP Biotechnology Policy 2014. The policy is intended to make Himachal a preferred destination for development of bio-technology products, processes and service.

It granted approval for creation of posts at Circle Health Centre (CHC), Dhami, in Shimla district.

The Cabinet also decided to make amendments to Para (11.5) of the HP Mineral Policy 2013.

It also gave its nod to the nagar panchayat status for Tahliwal in Una district. Tahliwal is an industrial hub in Una district and part of Haroli constituency.

The meeting was held here late in the evening at the Vidhan Sabha complex.
