Two held for Rs 1.5-crore robbery

Two men have been arrested for allegedly being involved in a robbery of Rs 1.5 crore at a shop of a dry fruits wholesale commission agent in Lahori Gate, north Delhi, after tying him and his employees, last week.

The accused have been identified as Roop Singh, alias Vicky (30), and Vinod, alias Lala (32). The police said they have recovered Rs 12.5 lakh and Rs 19.5 lakh from the two accused. The police are also searching for three other accused, Subhash, Mohan Lal, alias Sonu, and Manish, who allegedly participated in the robbery.
