Chandigarh, December 9

The State Election Commission today issued the schedule for elections to the Municipal Committee, Uklana, Hisar.

State Election Commissioner Dharam Vir said the model code of conduct in the area of the Municipal Committee would come into force today.

Nomination papers would be filed from December 16 to 20. Scrutiny would be done on December 22 and the last date for withdrawal was December 23.

Polling through EVMs would be held on December 31. The results would be declared the same day.
