60 teachers attend workshop at BCM Arya

A one-day workshop on curriculum enrichment in the field of economics was conducted at BCM Arya for economics teachers of Class XII. More than 60 senior economics teachers from 56 leading CBSE schools attended the discussion.

The keynote speaker for the inaugural session was an author and educationist, Dr VK Ohri.

Ohri discussed the common problems faced by economics teachers and also focused on strategies for effective teaching. He deliberated upon how new developments in economics can be effectively implemented for the benefit of students. A powerpoint presentation was also presented on the occasion. He also clarified concepts of micro and macro economics.

A powerpoint presentation was shown to explain in depth the concepts which could be helpful in classroom teaching. A video was also shown at the end of the session.

Principal Dr Paramjit Kaur stressed upon the need to update and upgrade knowledge and other skills in order to be an ideal teacher.
