Militants trigger IED blast near LoC in Rajouri

Jammu, December 1 Militants today triggered an IED blast near the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Militants today triggered an IED blast near the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

No was hurt in the blast.

"An IED exploded near the Line of Control at 10:25 am near Gambhir area. However, no one was hurt in the blast," Defence spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.

He said security forces immediately cordoned off the area to carry out a detailed search.

On Saturday last, militants had carried out a similar attack by detonating an IED in Krishnagati belt of Poonch district. — PTI
