Factory owner held with 38 bags of urea

YAMUNANAGAR: The police have arrested Ajay Singh, the owner of a glue factory here, for using subsidised urea to manufacture an adhesive that is used to make plyboard.

The police have arrested Ajay Singh, the owner of a glue factory here, for using subsidised urea to manufacture an adhesive that is used to make plyboard.

A police team raided 10 places last late evening. They found 38 bags of urea in a glue factory near Aggrasain Chowk in Jagadhri. The urea was seized. Singh was produced before court on Wednesday and released on bail.

Ajay was booked under the Fertiliser Control Order (1985), Essential Commodity Act and Section 420 of IPC. — TNS
