A three-year-old boy's body was fished out from a pond in Mand village today. The boy reportedly went missing last evening and the Batala police launched a massive operation to find the child. In his complaint to the police, the deceased boy's father, Avtar Singh, who is a 'granthi' at the village gurdwara, said his son, Gurpreet Singh, was playing outside their home when he went missing.
