Several schools participated today in Virasat sadhna young talent show at the Virasat cultural festival organised by the Rural Entrepreneurship for Art and Cultural Heritage (REACH).

Participants performed dance and vocal musical. Students from Doon Girl School, Viverly Public School, Shingally Hill Institute, Vantage Hall, Aryan School, Universal Academy and Kanak Kala Kendra participated in the talent show.

Priyanshi, Sampada and Shivali gave a beautiful kathak and bharatnatum dance performance.

Viraj, Isha, Shruti and Savi showcased their vocal music talent.

Virasat heritage inter-school quiz was also organised. Various school teams participated in the quiz contest. The Aryan School, The Flyfot school, The foothills Academy and Him Jyoti School reached the finals after the eliminating round.

Chamoli, Joshimath based Bhotia Sanskritik Manch, under the guidance of Prem Hindwan, performed at the festival in the evening.

The Bhotia manch has been performing at Virasat for last 20 years.

Mir Mukhtiyar Ali of Rajasthan also mesmerised the audience with his Sufiana kalam. Ali represents the 26th generation of the Mirasi lineage, which has preserved the heritage of Sufiana Qalam.
