The SAI owns five stadiums in the capital — Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, Karni Singh shooting range, Syama Prasad Mookerjee swimming complex and Indira Gandhi Indoor stadium. But the under-utilisation of these venues had made it difficult for the SAI to generate revenue that could be used for their maintenance.
