PHAGWARA: The Phagwara police have booked two persons, including an official of Lovely Professional University, on the charges of leaking question papers.

The Phagwara police have booked two persons, including an official of Lovely Professional University, on the charges of leaking question papers.

The accused are Archit Sharma, project officer, LPU, of Kangra and his accomplice Vinod Sharma of Tapa Mandi. They have been booked under Sections 420 and 406 of the IPC.

Surinder Khurana, security officer, LPU, alleged Archit was observer for the university’s distance education programme.

They had sent him sealed question papers before the exams, but the accused, who was deputed at Tapa Mandi, sold the question papers to some students before the exams, the security officer alleged. — OC
