Man stabbed to death

AMBALA: Gurnam Singh (45), a resident of the Kaith Majri area of Ambala City, was stabbed to death allegedly by his neighbour, Kahan Singh, late last evening.

Gurnam Singh (45), a resident of the Kaith Majri area of Ambala City, was stabbed to death allegedly by his neighbour, Kahan Singh, late last evening. Gurnam Singh, who was referred to the PGI, Chandigarh, succumbed to his injuries today.

Sources there was a dispute over the construction of a drain between Gurnam Singh and Kahan Singh.

Jonny, the deceased's son, accused Kahan Singh of stabbing his father. Gurnam Singh was rushed to the local civil hospital in a serious condition. He was later referred to the PGI, Chandigarh, where he succumbed to his injuries. The local police have registered a case.
