Bathinda, June 18

After bringing Manmohan Singh Mohana from a jail on a production warrant, the Mansa police have arrested him in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. They have got his five-day custody from a court.

The police are probing his links with gangsters Goldy Brar aand Lawrence Bishnoi. It is learnt that Mohana had done recce of Moosewala during the Assembly poll this year.

As per the police, Mohana was the only suspect arrested so far who hailed from Mansa district. He is a resident of Ralla village in the district.

The police said several cases had been registered against him. This is the 11th arrest so far in the murder case. — TNS

Kekra shifted from Muktsar jail

Muktsar: Sandeep Singh, alias Kekra, of Haryana has been shifted to Goindwal Sahib jail after Bambiha gang members tried to thrash him in Muktsar jail 3 days ago. The police said timely intervention of the staff thwarted any untoward incident.
