district, Rs 42.31 lakh would be spent during this year.

The state government is preparing a special programme

on Monday. If any trainee did not get job, he would be
provided loan to start self-employment, she added.

The construction of the local Ambedkar Bhavan has
been completed, according to Mr Tota Singh, Punjab
Education Minister, here on Tuesday. He said Rs 30 lakh
had been spent on its construction.
Transplanted
As many as 85 blind persons in Moga and Ludhiana
districts regained eyesight due to corneal
transplantation done by the local Seva Bharati, its
general secretary said on Tuesday.
Two killed
Two persons were killed and 17 injured when a
tractor-trailer carrying them overturned near Landeke
village on the Moga-Amritsar road on Sunday. The injured
were admitted to the local Civil Hospital.

Residents of Shaheed Seva Singh Thikriwala Nagar here
on Monday alleged that they were not getting sufficient
