Cong men killed in bomb attack
HYDERABAD, Oct 13 (PTI) Eight Congress activists were killed in an attack by a rival group at Dhurvesh village near Nandyal in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh today. The police said the rival group hurled bombs at the victims killing them on the spot. The police suspect that the attack was in retaliation for the killing of TDP sarpanch Venkat Rao in the village in July last.

11 rebels killed
QUETTA (Pakistan), Oct 13 (AFP) A third stray cruise missile from the US attack on alleged terrorist bases in Afghanistan has been found in the Pakistani province of Baluchistan, officials said today. A local resident found the unexploded missile in remote hills and told authorities, they said. Army experts have been sent to the area to defuse it.
