Harry to clash with
Tanveer in final

CHANDIGARH, June
5Tejinder Harry and Mohammad Tanveer will clash in
the men's singles final while in the women's section
Anjali Negi will take on her arch rival Saroj Chandel in
the final of the St Stephen's Ranking Carrom Tournament
at the St Stephen's School,Sector 45 , here tomorrow.
On the penultimate day
of the tournament today, Gagandeep gave a harrowing time
to Tejinder Harry in the men's singles semi-final, before
the latter could win at 25-21, 19-25, 25-17. In the
second semi-final, Mohammad Tanveer got the better of
Ramanpreet, winning 25-8, 25-24.
The other players who
have made it to the finals in various events include
Pallavi and Eveleen in the girls sub-junior event, Puneet
Lamba and Nabhi Sahni in the junior girls section,
Ramanpreet and Aita Ram in the sub-junior boys event, and
Jagdev Mann and Gagandeep in the junior boys section.
